01Delete your account and all your data.

Permanently deletes your handle, your streams, your recordings, your comments, your likes, your settings, your private zones, and your device’s link to the account. This is irreversible. We retain a hashed device identifier only if your account was banned, to prevent re-registration.

02Delete specific streams or comments.

Remove individual recordings, clips, or comments without deleting your account.

03Download a copy of your data.

Get a machine-readable export of everything we hold about you — handle, streams (links), comments, settings, and metadata. Delivered as a downloadable archive within 7 days.

04Opt out of analytics and diagnostics.

Stops us from collecting usage data (what you watch, how you interact) and diagnostic data (crash reports, performance metrics). The app still works; we just stop measuring how you use it.

05Turn off location sharing.

Stops your stream from appearing on the map and removes your last shared location from our servers. You can still broadcast — viewers just won’t see where you are.

06Block another user.

A blocked user can’t comment on your streams, appear in your view of the app, or be shown your activity. Mutual: their app loses access to you the same way.

07Withdraw consent for AI scene analysis.

Real-time content-safety models run on every live stream to detect prohibited content. You cannot opt out of this while broadcasting — it’s required for the platform to operate safely. If you do not consent to this processing, do not broadcast.

08Correct or update information.

We collect very little about you — there are no name, email, or phone fields to correct. Your handle can be regenerated once per day. If you believe we have inaccurate data about you, email us.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

snipes does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are no advertisers, data brokers, or third-party trackers in the app.

If our practices ever change, you will be notified in advance and an opt-out control will appear here. For now, this notice exists to confirm that you have nothing to opt out of, because there is no sale or sharing taking place.

Verifying your request

Because snipes is anonymous, we cannot verify your identity the way an app with email-based accounts can. We verify ownership of an account by asking you to confirm the request from inside the app on the device tied to that account, or by sending a confirmation prompt to that device. We will not act on a request that cannot be tied to a specific device.

An authorized agent can submit a request on your behalf, but we will still require device-side confirmation from you to act on it.

You have additional rights under your local laws. The choices above satisfy those rights for most users. If you want to invoke a specific right under CCPA / CPRA (California), GDPR (EU / UK), or PIPEDA / Law 25 (Canada / Quebec), email jay@snipes.world and name the law. Non-discrimination

We will not treat you differently for using any of the choices on this page. The app does not have a paid tier in v1, but if and when it does, exercising your privacy rights will not change the price or the features available to you.
